After leaving the lively city of Bangkok, Thailand, we went for a much more easy going atmosphere in Chiang Mai. We were volunteering at the most relaxing little village with local woodcarvers called Kad sala. Our volunteering tasks were teaching English and helping them get their hospitality business off the ground. Our time in Chiang Mai ended too quickly, but we made wonderful friends and experienced another side of Thai culture.
